UX Designer
ROLE SUMMARY
We’re looking for an enthusiastic product designer with 5+ years of commercial design experience to join our team and lead the design of our new climate fintech product. This is a new role in our team creating a new tool which turns boring, administrative interactions into exciting, brand-enhancing moves. Our product has a good chance of gaining adoption at scale by professional services businesses across the world.
We’re looking for someone to work closely with us to bring our product vision, definition and current validation and learnings into a fully formed offering for our initial customer group, and then ensure it scales and evolves over time to meet our ambitious plans of thousands and later millions of users.
We’re looking for someone with a passion for finding solutions to new problems that allow our customers to be successful. You will be adept at each stage of the design process from understanding the problem, to creative, collaborative and innovative design, to launching and prioritising feedback and always focused on the needs of the customer.
We’re looking for a generalist who can do a bit of everything, loves a challenge and is antifragile against uncertainty. This is a fast evolving domain and we need someone who can learn new things super quickly. You will own both product and brand design and will be interested and able to switch between both.
You are motivated by the mission of solving the climate challenge, and excited by using the power of software and data to inspire and influence at scale. You believe in having a strong vision, as well as the importance of hypothesis driven learning.
We have a Wellington office boasting the best waterfront views in the city (NZX Building) and support a hybrid distributed and co-located model. We are a small, powerful and tight-knit team. We have a casual atmosphere, good music and free lunch everyday. We’re ambitious, motivated by doing big things and focussed - and we have a lot of fun along the way.
